The 17th NATO CA²X² (Computer Assisted Analysis, Exercise, Experimentation) Forum, organized by the NATO Modelling and Simulation Centre of Excellence, is an event where military users, industry and academia meet and discuss M&S topics like M&S Discipline, Exercises, Experimentation, Wargaming, Analysis,  Standards, Interoperability, and so on.

The Event is open to NATO Nations, NATO Bodies, Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), NATO Partners across the Globe, and UN, EU, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Representatives. On a case-by-case basis and upon approval, participants outside the listed entities could be admitted.

During the event it is possible to attend presentations, workshops, demonstrations and round tables on latest technology and future trends.

The NATO CA²X²  Forum 2022 will take place from 27 to 29 September 2022 at the Hotel Barceló Aran Mantegna**** – Via Andrea Mantegna 130, 00147 Rome (Italy). 

The on-site registration and Icebreaker will take place on September 26, 2022.  (It will also be possible to register the morning of 27 September 2022).

Registration
Registration to the event for the M&S community of interest will be available by filling a pre-registration online form available at this website and will be only the first step. We will send you further information details in the coming weeks.

Fees
This year’s fee will be €300 for attendees.  This fee, in line with other conference’s fees, is the main source of funding for the not-for-profit NATO M&S COE to conduct the event.

Classification
The conference has no classification marking and all contents will be releasable to the public. The conference will be held under the Chatham House Rule.

Icebreaker

Day: 26 September 2022 (19:30)

This is an informal time for attendees to meet and socialize before the start of the NATO CA2X2 Forum. Complimentary drinks and refreshments will be available courtesy of our main sponsor, Epic Games.

Cultural event  

Day: 28 September 2022 

A guided tour in english at the Caracalla Baths. 

In addition to the standard itinerary of the archaeological site, a visit to the Mithraeum (place dedicated to the ancient cult of the god Mithras) and to the underground area of the baths will be granted.
