NATO M&S CoE has signed a Cooperation Arrangement (CA) with the Leonardo Company

In a significant development underscoring the principles of reciprocity and mutual benefit, the NATO Modelling and Simulation Centre of Excellence (NATO M&S COE) has signed a Cooperation Arrangement (CA) with the Leonardo Company. This significant partnership aims to enhance collaborative efforts in the field of Modelling and Simulation (M&S).

The agreement was formalized during a ceremony held at the NATO M&S COE attended by senior representatives from both organizations. The collaboration is designed to leverage the strengths and capabilities of Leonardo Company in conjunction with the strategic expertise and operational excellence of the NATO M&S COE.

The cooperation between Leonardo Company and the NATO M&S COE will cover different areas in the field of Modelling and Simulation: exercises, wargaming, artificial intelligence, M&S concept development and experimentation.

The agreement is a significant milestone, indeed, both parties bring together the best in technological innovation, and enhance NATO readiness to meet the challenges of today’s complex Multi-Domain operations environment (MDO). The agreement’s principles of reciprocity, the shared vision, and their know-how will ensure NATO’s operational effectiveness through superior modelling and simulation solutions.
